Although GoodNotions™ was established in 1997, a year later we founded the Victory Seed Company as a mission-driven, biodiversity preservation organization, from our family farm in Oregon. For nearly a quarter of a century, with the help of family, friends, and many, many supporters, we worked hard to preserve and protect rare, endangered plant varieties from becoming extinct, and to keep them available to gardeners. In the summer of 2022, in an effort to regain balance and to refocus our efforts on raising rare seed varieties, ownership of the Victory Seed Company was transferred to family friends.

We continue to grow rare seeds on our family's farm, and they are offered for sale through the Victory Seed Company.
